This Privacy Policy explains what information Cardsteward (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects when you visit cardsteward.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have. We’ve tried to write it in plain language.
Who we are
Cardsteward is an independent educational and comparison website covering insurance, financing, and protection for trading-card collectors and card businesses. You can reach us at jr@cardsteward.com.

Information you give us. If you subscribe to our newsletter or contact us, we collect the information you provide — typically your email address and any message you send.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we (and our service providers) automatically collect certain technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and how you arrived at the Site. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.
Cookies. We use cookies for basic site functionality, analytics, and affiliate tracking. Affiliate links may set a cookie so that a partner can credit us if you make a qualifying purchase. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work as intended.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to operate, maintain, and improve the Site; send our newsletter and respond to your messages; understand how visitors use the Site (analytics); credit affiliate partners for qualifying referrals; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
Third-party services

You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link in any email. Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information. Children’s privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Data retention and security
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, and we use reasonable measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, however, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above.
